His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority of People with Disability (APD), chaired the twentieth board meeting with His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Fahd Al-Jalajel, in attendance. The board discussed the most significant challenges faced by people with disabilities in the health sector as well as ways to improve and adapt the services provided to them. The board then reviewed the joint initiatives of the APD and Saudi Health Council to empower and better serve individuals with disabilities across all sectors.

The meeting also included a review of the programs and initiatives that have been developed over the last period. Notable is that the APD seeks to ensure that people with disabilities attain their rights, enhance and adapt the services provided to them, and ensure their social integration and empowerment.
