Dr. Hisham bin Muhammad Al-Haidari, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Authority of People with Disability (APD), inaugurated the activities of the "Eda’ah" forum in Jazan on Sunday, 21/5/2023 AD, corresponding to 1/11/1444 AH. The event takes place on Sunday and Monday at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Jazan. It aims to provide a space for people with disabilities to interact, showcase their talents, and exhibit their products and works of art. The opening ceremony included a tour of the exhibition, in which the public, private, and non-profit sectors took part.

In addition, the events include dialogue sessions addressing the role of the public, private, and non-profit sectors in empowering people with disabilities, the role of their families and society, and the showcasing of their talents and success stories.

Notable is that the Authority of People with Disability (APD) has organized "Eda'ah" forums in a number of cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Tabuk, Jeddah, and Al-Ahsa. Such events have a substantial impact on the realization of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the establishment of a harmonious and inclusive society through the empowerment and social integration of people with disabilities.
