The Authority of Persons with Disabilities has launched the second edition of the “Qimam” Leadership Empowerment Program, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote inclusion in workplaces and society, and to enable persons with disabilities to contribute effectively across various sectors. The program targets persons with disabilities working in the public, private, and non-profit sectors by equipping them with a range of leadership and professional skills that enhance their capabilities, strengthen their leadership readiness, and increase their presence in professional and community environments. “Qimam” is a specialized development program focused on building leadership capacities through an integrated training experience that combines practical learning, knowledge exchange, and skills development, supporting participants’ integration and strengthening their roles across different fields of work. The program is delivered in strategic partnership with the Institute of Public Administration, sponsored by Saudi Telecom Company (stc), and implemented by Qaderoon Network, reflecting the integration of efforts between government entities and the private sector in supporting and empowering persons with disabilities. APD continues to enhance the quality of services provided to persons with disabilities, raise awareness about disability, and strengthen collaboration across sectors, contributing to their empowerment and greater participation in workplaces and society.
