The CEO of the Authority of Persons with Disabilities, Dr. Hisham Al-Heidari, inaugurated the Saudi International Exhibition for Disability and Rehabilitation Requirements 2025, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from 10 to 12 November 2025, in the presence of a number of Their Highnesses, Excellencies, specialists, and representatives of local and international entities participating in the exhibition. Dr. Al-Heidari toured the exhibition’s pavilions and sections, which included a range of associations, rehabilitation centers, specialized hospitals, sports sectors, and companies from inside and outside the Kingdom that provide equipment and assistive technologies for persons with disabilities. These entities showcased the latest innovations in prosthetic devices, assistive technologies, and rehabilitation and education programs. The exhibition is held in strategic partnership with the Authority of Persons with Disabilities and is organized by Al-Arabia 1st Company for Exhibition and Conference Organization. It aims to raise awareness of disability-related issues, promote a culture of empowerment and inclusion, expand investment opportunities in the field of disability-related products, and facilitate the exchange of expertise and experiences among participating entities. The exhibition features a series of specialized panel discussions addressing several key themes, most notably: Rehabilitation and the role of specialized sectors Assistive technologies and their impact on facilitating the lives of persons with disabilities Rights and services provided to persons with disabilities The role of sports in enhancing the quality of life of persons with disabilities Non-profit sector initiatives in empowering persons with disabilities The Saudi International Exhibition for Disability and Rehabilitation Requirements is considered one of the leading specialized events in the region, providing a comprehensive platform to explore the latest solutions and products in the field of disability. It contributes to strengthening inclusion, promoting accessibility, and improving the quality of life for persons with disabilities, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting and empowering them across various fields.
