The Authority of People with Disability (APD) signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) with Almarai Company in Riyadh aimed at advancing shared objectives in the realm of social development. Furthermore, leveraging the capabilities and functions of each, facilitating collaboration among them, bestowing advantages, and providing initiatives and activities that empower and support persons with disabilities (PwDs).
The MoC was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the APD, Dr. Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Haidari, and by the Chief Human Resources Officer at Almarai, Fahad bin Mohammed Aldrees, on the sidelines of the International Labor Market Conference held in Riyadh. The agreement is the result of the APD's continuous efforts to improve integration with the leading national labor sectors in order to support all that serves persons with disabilities and enhances their labor market integration and to realize the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

It is worth mentioning that the APD serves as the umbrella organization for all matters pertaining to persons with
disabilities, working in cooperation with relevant authorities to increase their visibility in diverse development programs
Additionally, it strives to promote awareness concerning the rights of persons with disabilities, foster their independence,
empowerment, and integration in all aspects of life, and progress towards an inclusive and harmonious society.
