The Board of Directors of the Authority of People with Disability (APD) held its fourth meeting for the year of 2021. The meeting was chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the APD, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi. During the meeting, a number of topics were discussed and new developments in agreements and memoranda of cooperation signed by the APD with different entities were followed up. The internal and external participation of the APD was also reviewed, which aims to raise awareness of the community and transfer global experience in empowering people with disabilities. Topics related to comprehensive access and training programs provided by the Authority of People with Disability to the relevant government entities were also discussed. It is also worth noting that the current Board of Directors meeting is the thirteenth since the establishment of the APD. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the representatives of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Economy and Planning.  The Board of Directors includes two members of people with disabilities and two members of the parents of people with disabilities.
