Memorandum of Understanding with Liajlehum Association for Disability to Support the Integration of People with Disabilities in the Labor Market

The CEO of the Authority of People with Disabilities (APD), Dr. Hisham bin Muhammad Al- Haidari and the CEO of Liajlehum Association for Disability, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdul Rahman bin Farhan Al Saud, have signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of supporting and integrating persons with disabilities in the labor market. The two parties, though the memorandum of understanding, seek to implement programs and initiatives that contribute to promoting the services provided to persons with disabilities and developing solutions through different training programs. It also aims to raise the society’s awareness through various media outlets. Dr. Hisham expressed his happiness at signing this agreement as coordinating efforts, enhancing services provided to persons with disabilities and raising the society’s level of awareness are part of the APD’s objectives. He added that the third sector is considered one of the most important sectors that contribute to the services provided to persons with disabilities, appreciating Liajlehum Association for Disability for its efforts in supporting and enabling the integration of persons with disabilities as well as developing initiatives that contribute to promoting the services provided to them. ‏The CEO of Liajlehum Association for Disability, Prince Faisal bin Abdul Rahman bin Farhan Al Saud, has also expressed his happiness at signing the agreement as the APD is considered the comprehensive national reference for persons with disability, which basically aims to ensure that persons with disabilities obtain their rights and enhance their position in society. Liajlehum Association for Disability appreciates this agreement and considers it a joint cooperation to serve the national goals towards empowering and integrating persons with disabilities in the labor market and society.
