Dr. Hisham Al-Haidari, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Authority of People with Disability (APD), inaugurated the activities of the "Eda’ah" forum in Medina on Sunday, 3/3/2024. The event lasted for two consecutive days.
The primary objective of the forum is to encourage individuals with disabilities to actively engage in artistic and cultural environments, participate in the programs provided by different sectors, and facilitate the collaboration with the public, private, and non-profit sectors in delivering services and organizing programs. Numerous activities were featured at the forum, such as dialogue sessions in which a group of individuals with disabilities recounted their achievements across diverse domains.
The forum includes an exhibition comprising over 30 booths, which collectively represent sectors dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities in Medina. Additionally, there are numerous workshops that address professional, educational, and social aspects of disability. All individuals who desire to participate in the events are welcome to attend.
